Febrary 7, 2024 – TU/e chemical engineer Leon Rosseau investigated how to control the temperature in a chemical reactor as efficiently as possible. To do so, he used 3D printed obstacles to determine which shape works best. On Wednesday, February 7, he defended his doctoral research – ‘Chemical process intensification by 3D printing of catalysts: The heat transfer – pressure drop trade-off’ – at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.
