The largest 3D printed building project in the US
Construction of the tallest 3D printed building in the US is currently underway in Houston. It is a two-storey building designed by Hanna Architects of Ithaca, New York. It consists of a series of 3D printed base parts with functional spaces and stairs. These basic parts are connected by a wooden frame, which creates an architectural alternation of concrete and wood. The project is executed by PERI and CIVE using a COBOD BOD2 portal printer.
