Three designers chosen for Sweco’s What if lab

June 6, 2024 – Volle Grond, Fides Lapidaire and Studio Kornelia Dimitrova x Massif Architects have been chosen this year to take on a unique design challenge together with architectural and engineering consultancy firm Sweco. They have been selected from dozens of entries to address the question: how can we reduce the negative impact of urbanization and have cities actively contribute to a healthy and sustainable living environment?
Sweco is organizing this designer challenge for the fourth year in a row in collaboration with the What if Lab, a program of the Dutch Design Foundation. The goal is to come up with unique solutions and fantastic ideas. That is why we are once again looking for professional designers who naturally color outside the lines and like to push the boundaries of technical possibilities.
