May 29, 2025 – Scientists at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUBA) have launched an international project titled ‘Development of New Approaches and Structural Materials for the Reconstruction of Damaged Infrastructure in Ukraine, Considering Environmental Sustainability.’ The aim is to create innovative concrete mixtures made from construction debris – particularly from war-damaged buildings – for use in new constructions, including via 3D printing.

KNUBA states that this project is developing an innovative formula and technology for concrete mixtures that will be used in civil and military construction in Ukraine, Poland, and the United States.
